Stacking the Shelves is a weekly meme from Tynga’s Reviews where you showcase the books you’ve received or purchased.
This week I finally got my hands on Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo and An Ember In the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir! I’ve seen everyone raving about these books for months now and I’m so excited to finally add them to my TBR.
I’m definitely having a bit of a Fantasy spree at the moment and I’m sure these two won’t disappoint. Seeing as both the sequels are out very soon though, I’m going to have to try hard to avoid any spoilers!
Have you read Six of Crows or An Ember In the Ashes? Did you get any books this week? Let me know in the comments below!
Both Six of Crows AND Ember in the Ashes are fantastic! Both of them are at the top of my favorite YA Fantasy list. You’re going to love them!

OMG Caitlin! Those editions are lovely! I read and loved both of these books (though, sadly, I didn’t love TORCH). I cannot wait to read Crooked Kingdom! Hopefully it does not disappoint. I hope you enjoy all of your new books!
Have a fabulous week. 🙂
Check out my swoon post!

Yeah they’re so pretty! That’s a shame you didn’t like TORCH, but hopefully Crooked Kingdom will still be good! Thank you, you too! 🙂

I have read both of these books and they are awesome! Even though it is not a sequel, I would recommend that you read the Grisha series before reading Six Of Crows. I don’t think one would get the depth of Six Of Crows without all the background that the Grisha series provides. I listened to an audiobook of An Ember In The Ashes, and it was really beautiful. Have fun with your new books!

That’s good to hear! I did actually read the first book in the Grisha series when it first came out, but I wasn’t that captivated by it, so I never continued the series. I’ve heard that Six of Crows is better, and I at least have some vague general knowledge of the world and characters from the first series, but maybe I’ll give the Grisha trilogy another go sometime! Thank you!
