The Sunday Post #10

TheSundayPost

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted at The Caffeinated Book Reviewer in which book bloggers recap their week and look at what’s to come.

My Weekly Recap

It’s been another busy week for me so I haven’t been able to post too much. My boyfriend has been visiting so we’ve been out adventuring.

I’m still behind on the tags – I have three to do – but I’ll definitely get round to those next week!

Anyway, posts this week:

Coming Up

Because I’ve been busy, I’m still reading Edna O’Brien’s The Little Red Chairs. I’m enjoying it, but it’s not a really memorable novel. The critics have been raving about it though so definitely give it a try if it intrigues you. My review of it should be up next week.

I missed Stacking the Shelves yesterday, but if you want to know what books I’ve acquired recently, check out my YALC posts where I got three ARCs – Goldenhand by Garth Nix, Gilded Cage by Vic James and Girl Detached by Manuela Salvi – and other books, including Nevernight by Jay Kristoff and A Darker Shade of Magic by Victoria Schwab. I am reeeeeally excited to read all of these, especially the ARCs, so look out for the reviews!

I’ve also had a few other posts planned for a while, so expect discussions, lists and comparisons!

And Finally

Bear’s Den have a new album out! I bought it this week but haven’t actually had a chance to listen to it yet! But I love their first album so I’m trusting that this is great too.

  1. Nice stack of books. I’ve seen radio Silence around in the last week or so and it looks good. Good luck with the tags and have a good week!
