The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted at The Caffeinated Book Reviewer in which book bloggers recap their week and look at what’s to come.
My Weekly Recap
Not a lot happened in my life this week, it’s been pretty uneventful. There have been a ton of storms here in England so many of my plans have been put on hold, which is annoying because I have adventures to tick off my list before I move back home for good from university!
Blog posts this week:
- Book-to-Screen Adaptations That Actually Work
- Review: The Bone Clocks by David Mitchell
- On Writing: How Do You Plan?
- Stacking the Shelves ft. my Hamster
- Review: Daughter of Deep Silence by Carrie Ryan
Coming Up
I keep on forgetting about doing my review for X-Men: Apocalypse! At this rate I may as well just write a quick review in my Sunday Post because it’s the only time I remember it.
However, I do have some other posts planned for the coming week, if I can fit them all in. I’m going to get started on Golden Son by Pierce Brown, and the review will be going up on Ellie Maloney’s blog! I’ll post the link to it on here when it’s live.
I have another On Writing post planned, as well as another If You Liked That, You’ll Love This post, and the usual Waiting on Wednesday.
And Finally
Another weekly music recommendation. This week, I’m loving the new The Temper Trap album. Whilst I loved their debut, their second album was a bit hit and miss for me. However, their third release is back on form. Check it out:
I can’t believe I missed a book to screen post that talked about Game of Thrones and The 100. Two of my favorite fandoms lol. I agree about The 100, the show is awesome and while I haven’t read the books I probably should, though another blogger said the books weren’t as good. Maybe sometime I should try them tho… and GoT of course is awesome. 🙂
I was wondering about X-Men Apocalypse, heard different things.
Have a great week!

Haha glad you enjoyed the post! I love The 100 show, it’s such a shame I didn’t like the books anywhere near as much, but yeah definitely give it a go anyway because the show wouldn’t be around without the books first! It’s interesting to see the differences and similarities. Haha yes I keep forgetting to review X-Men Apocalypse! I will 100% review it this week, I’ll even set a reminder on my phone. Hope you have a great week too!

Sometimes uneventful is good, better than bad-eventful at least lol. But that sucks that the storms are keeping you from your adventures
Any indoor adventures you can do instead? Maybe this week will be better 🙂

Yeah true, much better than lots of drama! Well I suppose eating at restaurants is an indoor adventure haha that doesn’t sound too bad to me! Hopefully so, thanks for stopping by! 🙂

I need to hurry up and read Red Rising. I’ve been crazy busy so far the past few weeks. I actually wish we were having more storms where I live, but we’re getting really hot and staying dry right now. Have a great week!

You’ve got plenty of time before the films come out for Red Rising haha so not too much of a rush. Ugh it’s horrible when it’s dry and hot, at least storms means there’s a bit of moisture. Have a great week too!

I know the feeling, it’s now hot and there’s still storms so you’re just stuck inside with a fan. Thanks for stopping by!
